Portland Regional Gem and Mineral Show

This is the 25th annual Portland Regional Gem and Mineral Show. The theme of the show is "the Geology of Oregon". This show is the premier show of the Porland area with over 160 display cases and 35 dealers. Other features include an exceptional silent auction, great raffle and fun games for children. The show will feature a special raffle for a gold and diamond bracelet with 264 matched diamonds that has been appraised for $1925. We are also co-sponsoring a symposium with the Ice Age Floods Institute featuring "Geology of Oregon". We have regionally known spekers on topics related to the Ice age floods and the causes and nature of our massive basalt flows. Additional fees will be charged for the symposium on Friday morning starting at 8:00.
