| Saving Energy, Managing Livestock on Small Acreage, Organic Gardening, Beekeeping, Composting, and the latest in going “Green” – no matter what your small farm interest is, the Country Lifestyle Experience (CLE) is for you!
A unique expo designed especially for people living on small farms, the Country Lifestyle Experience offers a variety of clinics, workshops, demonstrations, lectures, live animal exhibits and a trade show, where people can learn about the latest technology, small farm activities and machinery, animal management, energy saving methods and alternatives, feeds, hobbies, and much more. The CLE is a family event, designed for people with country acreage from one acre to many acres! We will showcase some of the newest innovations to help you save money, save energy and enjoy your farm and land even more. The next expo will be held April 16-18, 2010 at the Linn Co. Fair & Expo Center in Albany, OR.
Animal Showcase
Alpacas, Sheep and Miniature Goats were all featured at the 1st Annual Country Lifestyle Experience. In addition to working with cattle and horses, the CLE offered information on managing and raising sheep, chickens, rabbits and some very rare breed to farm animals, such as the Katahdin Hair Sheep.
From chickens, sheep and rabbits to buffalos, pigs and emus, we want to represent ALL farm animals in the Animal Showcase. If you raise rare breed animals or just have a small farm full of animals, sign-up to exhibit at the Animal Showcase.
Trade Show
Last year’s show offered products such as tractors, Touch of Mink Skincare, kettle corn, Silverlite Trailers, honey, gourds, flameless candles, handspun yarn, goat’s milk soap, custom duck calls, quilts, art of all kinds, Beelart Embroidery, rural property listings, ice cream, Agriculture Statistics for Oregon and ATV Safety Information. Booth discounts are available to vendors whose products are handcrafted in the USA!
