Oregon High Schools

The Rock Creek Campus is situated about 12 miles west of downtown Portland, in the rapidly growing Beaverton-Hillsboro area of Washington County. The campus' concrete and wood structures fit nicely into the rolling hill farmland, creating a pristine study environment.

Spacious, open malls highlight Rock Creek, which opened in 1976. The land for this scenic oasis was purchased in 1969 for $584,955 and has provided a great return on Portland Community College's investment, offering important educational services to a rural-suburban community.

The Rock Creek Campus sits amid farm and wetland, perfect for PCC's Veterinary Technology, Landscape Technology and Biology programs. It's also a fine venue for its Diesel Service Technology, Agricultural Mechanics, Auto Collision Repair, Building Construction Technology and Bioscience Technology programs.

The 256-acre campus, by far the largest area of the three campuses, provides a beautiful setting for college transfer and professional and technical programs. The campus is a model for successful partnerships with area high schools, and its science-technology building, completed in 1995, houses up-to-date laboratories and classrooms. The on-campus hangar houses the Aviation Maintenance Technology program where students can get hands-on experience maintaining airplanes and helicopters.
