The Construction Industry Crime Prevention Program (CICP) is a non profit, private sector organization formed to fight construction site theft and vandalism. These activities are estimated to cost contractors in the Pacific Northwest over $26 million annually. Since CICP began in March 1996, over 6 million dollars in thefts have been reported. CICP has participated in recoveries of $2,534,000.
CICP acts as a resource for law enforcement. The CICP Hotline number is 1-800-328-9321 and is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week.
CICP pays rewards up to $1,000 for information regarding crimes against the construction industry. The information must result in arrest, restitution, or recovery and the caller may remain anonymous. Anyone with information relating to construction thefts should call the CICP Hotline at 1-800-328-3921 or call the CICP office at (503) 618-8871.
